BRIDGING HISTORY & HORIZON
The Ride To The Olympics (RTO) HBCU Polo Initiative is more than a sports program — it’s a movement to redefine access, representation, and excellence within equestrian sports. Through our partnerships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities, we’re creating pathways for student-athletes of color to become competitive polo players at both the collegiate and Olympic level. Our vision is bold yet clear: to cultivate the first generation of Black Olympic polo players while empowering young leaders through teamwork, discipline, and cultural pride.
MOREHOUSE POLO CLUB
RTO proudly launched the first-ever Morehouse Polo Club, developed in collaboration with the United States Polo Association (USPA). This historic team represents the first official HBCU presence in the sport, setting the stage for future collegiate-level competition, training, and leadership development.
EXPANSION PIPELINE
Following Morehouse’s success, RTO is actively developing programs at additional HBCUs, including both men’s and women’s teams. Each new chapter strengthens our nationwide network of collegiate equestrian athletes and expands the footprint of diversity within the sport.
